Overview

Whistle Sports tapped Monolith to lead production on an episode of their Days Off series, featuring Cleveland Cavaliers guard Ty Jerome.

The concept: follow Ty through a rare off-day in Cleveland, capturing personality, city culture, and community in a way that felt unscripted—but polished.

From creative development to final delivery, we took on each part of the process.

Our ROLE

Three images showing two individuals inside a restaurant. The top image depicts them posing in a rustic dining area. The middle image shows them in a kitchen with a chef by an oven, one wearing an apron. The bottom image is of them walking outside on a sidewalk.

Monolith was brought in as a full-service creative partner.
No creative director on set. No safety net. Just us, the talent, and the brief.

We handled:

  • Run-of-show structure

  • Full production & editorial execution

  • Delivery of assets in both mid-form and short-form formats

HERO EPISODE

@ IL Rione - CLEVELAND, Ohio

A cinematic 8-minute journey through Cleveland, anchored in a hands-on pizza-making session at Il Rione. The episode balances relaxed athlete storytelling with polished visual language—professional lighting, 3-camera coverage, and documentary pacing.

We delivered 6 short-form edits optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and vertical platforms.
Each cutdown was built with intent: sharp pacing, brand-safe sound, and content hooks that convert attention into engagement.

This wasn’t just a highlight reel. It was a demonstration of editorial versatility—how a story can flex between long-form warmth and short-form rhythm, without losing its voice.

The Impact

-Monolith operates as both aesthetic-first filmmakers and platform-native editors.

-We work autonomously under pressure—and deliver to brand.

-We turn modest budgets into high-impact content ecosystems.
